Air Campania Bus Engulfed by Flames in Paternopoli

An Air Campania bus caught fire in Paternopoli in the early afternoon of April 9th. The fire, extinguished by the Fire Brigade, is presumably due to a short circuit, according to the Carabinieri. The flames broke out while the vehicle was parking at the terminal, allowing the passengers on board the bus to immediately get to safety. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The Carabinieri of the Montella Company intervened on the spot. Despite the intervention of the Fire Brigade, the Air bus was literally devoured by the flames that spread quickly. Gradually, especially in recent months, Air Campania has been replacing older vehicles with more modern buses that have a lower environmental impact.
