A 15-year-old was arrested last night by the Carabinieri in Naples for injuring a 16-year-old boy. According to investigators, he attacked the victim with a cutting weapon, injuring him in the right leg and side.
The alarm was raised late last night when the military from the San Giuseppe Vesuviano barracks intervened in a local clinic for an injured, clean-record 16-year-old. Investigations by the Carabinieri, coordinated by the judicial authority, led to the identification of the alleged attacker, an unrecorded 15-year-old.
The events allegedly took place around 8 pm in Terzigno on Aielli street, while the reasons for the act are still unclear and investigations are underway to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the event. The 15-year-old is being charged with attempted murder and, by order of the Prosecutor's Office for Minors in Naples, has been transferred to the Colli Aminei first reception center.
The victim was then transferred to the hospital in Sarno, in serious condition but not in danger of life. The Carabinieri searched the home of the minor under investigation last night, but only his mother was at home. Soon after - at 3 am - the 15-year-old appeared at the San Giuseppe Vesuviano Carabinieri station accompanied by his lawyer.
