21-Year-Old Arrested Twice for Stalking Ex-Girlfriend and Resisting Arrest in Caserta

The State Police of Caserta have arrested a 21-year-old, originally from the province of Naples, on two occasions for stalking his ex-girlfriend and resisting a public officer. The flying squad intervened in recent days following a report of a man who had been present outside the home of a person with whom he had previously had a sentimental relationship for several hours. On the scene, the police officers stopped the individual as he attempted to approach the woman who had meanwhile left the house, threatening her with death and loudly demanding the reasons for the end of the relationship. Taken to the police station, the young man continued his threatening behavior, insistently asking to meet the woman to "clarify" things. The police reconstructed the events, discovering that the subject, after the end of the sentimental relationship, had threatened and sought contact on numerous occasions, remaining from the previous evening outside his ex-girlfriend's home, waiting for her to leave. At the end of the procedures, the subject was arrested and placed under house arrest at his home in the province of Naples, pending the validation hearing, which took place this morning in the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere. Brought to court, he was arrested again by the flying squad officers, as the individual, believing he could meet the woman again during the hearing to ask her the reasons for the end of their relationship, attacked the police officers who had him in custody, making it necessary for auxiliary personnel to intervene at the Court to stop his fury. During the operation, the subject was found in possession of a switchblade, hidden in his private parts. The individual was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
