A 26-year-old Moroccan man has been arrested for assault after allegedly hitting a 73-year-old man with a hammer. The Carabinieri mobile unit arrested the young man, who is illegally residing in Italy. After having sexual relations with the 73-year-old Neapolitan, the young man was given a 20 euro note.
Believing it to be fake, the 26-year-old allegedly attacked the older man with a hammer. The elderly man was repeatedly hit and was taken to the CTO hospital, where he remains under observation with a prognosis of 30 days. The arrested man has been taken to a security room, awaiting trial.
