26-Year-Old Arrested for Robbery After Stealing a Car and Assaulting the Owner

In Ottaviano, the local station's Carabinieri arrested Emanuele Floriani, a 26-year-old from the Don Guanella district already known to law enforcement, for robbery. Just before midnight, the man steals a car but is caught by the rightful owner and at that point, the 26-year-old flees with the just stolen Fiat Panda. The victim follows him and calls the Carabinieri. Traffic spoils the fugitive's plans, who gets stuck on Zabatta street. There, the 26-year-old gets out of the car and in an attempt to escape, kicks and punches the car owner and two other passersby who had intervened. The Carabinieri arrive, restrain the man, and arrest him. The arrested has been transferred to jail awaiting trial and will have to answer for robbery.
