30-year-old Gambian Arrested for Drug Dealing and Illegal Possession of Weapons

A 30-year-old Gambian man will have to answer for possession with the purpose of drug dealing and illegal possession of weapons or objects intended to offend. The man, who is legally residing in the country, was arrested this afternoon in San Nicola la Strada. He was caught by the military of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Caserta Company while he was selling a dose of hashish to a local young man in Largo Rotonda. Upon immediate search, the Gambian was found in possession of three more doses of the same narcotic substance and a switchblade knife that he was hiding in a jacket pocket, immediately seized. The 30-year-old was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, at the disposal of the competent judicial authority. The young buyer, identified on the spot, was reported to the Prefecture of Caserta for the relative administrative violation.
