35-Year-Old Arrested for Credit Card Theft and Fraud in Avellino

A 35-year-old from Irpinia has been arrested by the Carabinieri of the provincial command of Avellino for aggravated theft and unauthorized use of credit cards. The investigative activity, carried out by the military, has allowed to acquire a serious circumstantial framework. Thanks also to a meticulous analysis of the images extracted from the video surveillance systems present in the places of the thefts and in the commercial establishments where the 35-year-old, with a tried and tested modus operandi, would have carried out fraudulent transactions with the stolen cards. The man ended up behind bars, reached by a precautionary custody measure in prison issued by the judge for preliminary investigations of the Court of Avellino, at the request of the Republic's Prosecutor's Office, which coordinated the activities conducted by the Carabinieri of the Station and Mobile Radio Section of the Company of Avellino.
