44th AVO Volunteer Training Course Now Open for Registration

Registrations are now open for the 44th course for aspiring Avo volunteers organized by A.V.O Napoli - hospital volunteers association. The Course will be held at the «Mediterraneo classroom» of the A. Cardarelli hospital on the days of April 17, May 7-14-20-28, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The lessons will be conducted by sector experts and particular emphasis will be given to communication in the volunteer/patient relationship, listening, and empathetic response. Special attention will also be given to direct “testimonies” from volunteers already present in the hospital wards. After the suspension of activities due to the pandemic, the A.V.O. volunteers have resumed their frequent visits to the hospital departments at full pace.
