57-Year-Old Thief Caught Red-Handed Stealing a Car in Aversa

He thought he could steal a car undisturbed, unaware that he was in the sights of a Carabinieri patrol: 57-year-old thief caught in the act in Aversa. The man, from Naples, was stopped this morning on Via San Lorenzo, by the Carabinieri of the operational section of the Marcianise Company who witnessed the car theft. Subsequent personal and home searches allowed the seizure of 'professional equipment' for opening and tampering with cars, all of illicit origin, including 53 car ignition cylinders, 3 ignition blocks, 1 artisanal universal key, 15 remote controls, 34 car keys, 4 anti-theft keys, 5 control units, 3 electronic blocks, various identity documents belonging to victims of car thefts. The 57-year-old was arrested and placed under house arrest. He will have to answer for theft with violence on things.
