Registrations are open for the fifth edition of the «5G Academy» which brings together the University of Naples Federico II, in partnership with Nokia and Tim  and with the active support of ICT world companies, such as Fastweb, Opnet and Gam Engineering,  in the creation of a high-level training course for new professional figures and innovative digital profiles required by the world of work.

The call involves the participation of 43 students and expires at 12.00 on 01/02/2024. Again this year, the Academy has expressed its strong attention towards inclusion, reserving 3 places for people with disabilities. Participation is completely free.

The training course, lasting seven months, will begin on February 13, 2024 and will focus on the «sustainable digital transformation» with specific reference to the revolutionary potential of future networks and the enabling technologies linked to them. Again this year, modules dedicated to the regulatory, economic and social aspects of new technologies are planned.

The aim is to enable participants to acquire technical, managerial and sector consulting skills and to enhance their digital mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.

After a preliminary phase dedicated to acquiring «Soft Skills», the training process will develop through moments of general training «Transversal Skills», and sector «Deep Dives», to be completed in the project work activity, where the participants, divided into groups with heterogeneous skills, will work on the development of concrete business cases and related prototypes in collaboration with universities, research centers and leading ICT and non-ICT companies.

The activities will take place at the Federico Technological Pole in San Giovanni a Teduccio.
