A 64-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl with a mild intellectual disability. The man took advantage of his role in accompanying the girl to a rehabilitation center in Castellammare di Stabia.
The arrest warrant was executed by the judicial police and the officers of the Stabia police station, issued by the judge of the court of Torre Annunziata, at the request of the prosecution.
The accusation is of sexual violence. Everything started from a complaint filed by the minor's parents, to whom the young girl had confided some episodes of which she would have been a victim.
Thanks also to the viewing of images extracted from the surveillance systems of a commercial activity where the facts would have taken place, and the listening of a conversation between the suspect and the girl, the agents collected the elements against the 64-year-old man. According to the reconstruction by the investigators, the man would have taken advantage of the task entrusted to him by the parents to accompany their daughter to the rehabilitation center, a task that would have allowed the man to spend several moments alone with the girl. The man was taken to the Neapolitan prison of Poggioreale.
