71-year-old retiree Aniello Ambrosio had disappeared last February 20th. His lifeless body was found this afternoon in a well in San Giuseppe Vesuviano, in the province of Naples, not far from the place of his last sighting.
Officers from the San Giuseppe Vesuviano police station and firefighters were on site, who recovered the body, now at the disposal of the on-duty magistrate at the Nola Prosecutor's Office for autopsy. Traces of Aniello Ambrosio had been lost three weeks ago when he had asked for a ride from a woman who, by car, had accompanied him not far from the place of discovery.
Since then, there had been no news, until this afternoon, when a report of a corpse inside a well was received. Some relatives also went to the site and recognized the clothes worn by the 71-year-old.
