Aggravated Theft: Four People Reported in Casavatore

This night in Casavatore, the carabinieri of the radiomobile section of the Casoria company together with the soldiers of the Afragola station have reported four people for aggravated theft. It is just a few minutes before one o'clock when the patrols of the force - engaged in night service - are sent to Via Campanariello by the operations center. The presence of a Peugeot 208, which had been stolen shortly before at Vomero, was reported. The patrols rush to that area but it is in Via Marconi that they find a VW T-Rock with four people on board. The military signal them to stop but the chase begins. A few hundred meters later, the fugitives are blocked. In the car, some burglary tools, presumably used to steal the Peugeot 208 which was subsequently found in Via Mazzini and returned to its rightful owner, were found and seized. The Volkswagen used by the criminals was instead returned to the rental company owner. The four suspects are 26, 19, and 22 years old, and only the latter was previously unrecorded. Investigations by the carabinieri continue to verify if the four have been involved in other crimes that occurred in Naples and its province.
