Agropoli Installs Five Defibrillators in Sports Facilities

Five defibrillators have been installed in the sports facilities of the Municipality of Agropoli. A course will soon be organized to train personnel from the sports associations operating within these facilities on how to use them. Specifically: two devices have been installed at the Guariglia sports facility, also serving the Torre facility and the Pietro Mennea track, one for the Palagreen, one for the Peppino Impastato, and another for the Pala Di Concilio. The initiative comes from the Sports office in collaboration with the Health Department, led by councilor Rosa Lampasona, given the lack of defibrillators in the facilities in question to make them heart-safe, also in compliance with recent regulations. "We have made the municipal sports facilities safer by equipping them with defibrillators. These are semi-automatic devices capable of responding in case of cardiac problems. A specific course will soon be organized to train some members of associations that use the facilities, so they can intervene if necessary.
