Alessandro Buttà Confirmed as General Director of Federico II University in Naples Until 2027

Alessandro Buttà has been confirmed as the general director of the Federico II University of Naples: he will hold the highest administrative position of the university until 2027. The University's Board of Directors, after the favorable opinion of the Academic Senate, approved the proposal of rector Matteo Lorito in the afternoon. Buttà, 57 years old, has been the general director of Federico II since July 2021. With a degree in Economic and Maritime Sciences, a chartered accountant and auditor, he has been at Federico II since 2003 and is mainly involved in organizational innovation and management control. A promoter and coordinator of projects with national and international bodies and companies, from Apple to the Court of Naples to the Ministry of Justice, and initiatives such as the establishment of University Faculties in Uganda, he sits at various technical tables.
