Alessandro Siani and Leonardo Pieraccioni come together for the first time in “You and I Need to Talk,” a comedy we will see on screens at Christmas: directed by the Neapolitan headliner, produced by Fulvio and Federica Lucisano for Italian International Film with Rai Cinema. Filming will start in mid-June.
Says Siani: «Leonardo, you and I need to talk. It's the phrase that encompasses the name of my future accomplice... and the title of my new movie! What more can I add? With Pieraccioni anything can happen!» Pieraccioni replies: «When I met Alessandro and he simply asked me: “Do we want to have fun together?” I immediately felt a joyful spark that would ignite a great project. Then, when we began to enthusiastically discuss the story he told me, I realized we were already having fun and that the journey had already begun.»
Paolo Del Brocco, CEO of Rai Cinema, states: «It's a dream come true: we have been working on this pairing for a long time and we have finally managed to bring together these two top-level comic talents, two thoroughbreds of Italian comedy. I am convinced that it will be an explosive mix, a gift for the Christmas audience.»
We conclude with Federica Lucisano, CEO of Italian International Film: «For us, who mainly produce comedies, making a movie with two stars of the caliber of Alessandro Siani and Leonardo Pieraccioni is both a dream and a challenge.
