Amadeus has announced that during the first evening of the Sanremo festival there will be, as a guest, the mother of Giovan Battista Cutolo, a young musician killed on the streets of Naples after a parking dispute.

On Thursday on stage, continues Amadeus, "Stefano Massini and Paolo Jannacci with a beautiful song that refers to work-related deaths, a song that will touch us a lot". This year, he further explains, "there will be no institutional presences at the festival", after last year Mattarella made a great gift to the Italians, nor monologues. "However, there will be some personal testimonies: Giovanni Allevi will return to the stage after two terrible years: I met him and he, in addition to playing, will be a spokesperson for his battle, a spokesperson for those who find themselves in his situation", recalls the artistic director.
For her part, GiòGiò's mother thanks: "Amadeus' invitation to the festival came because GiòGiò played in the symphony orchestra of Sanremo. He would have come back here this year to play and he also did a masterclass with the first horn of the symphony orchestra of Sanremo but unfortunately the barbaric hand of that killer will never allow him to do so. It was therefore right to pay tribute to his memory in the temple of music, Sanremo, where my son would have moved if he had passed the audition he had to do". This is how Daniela Di Maggio told it. "The tribute to his memory is also right to represent a fair Naples, a Naples of legality, an aristocratic Naples that I believe my son and I embody. And this is the message I will bring to that stage" said Daniela who adds: "Naples, unfortunately, is always decriminalized with a very folkloric image but there is a whole other Naples that is never represented and I hope that with my presence and my son's, the real Naples will be represented on that stage".
