On Wednesday, April 2nd, at 8:30 PM, 'An Evening with' returns to The Space Cinema Naples, and on this occasion, director Francesco Lettieri will meet the audience to present his new documentary 'Pino'. At the end of the screening, there will be a Q&A session between the director and the audience, a unique opportunity for all cinema enthusiasts and fans of the Neapolitan singer-songwriter to discover new curiosities and anecdotes from behind the scenes directly from the creator of the work. At the end of the screening, the director will greet the audience present in the theater. 'An Evening With' is The Space Cinema's format where you can attend a series of exclusive screenings presented by great guests in the theater, such as the director or cast members. Pino Daniele was many things. A singer-songwriter, a rock star, a pop icon, but also a desk mate, a true friend, a husband, a father, a Neapolitan for sure, but in love with Tuscany, Rome, and Milan. A concentration of Italianity that, however, avoided stereotypes and sought oxygen in musicians from all over the world. This documentary attempts to tell all this, starting from his music, his songs, his experiments, up to an unpublished hidden gem. The film is a vertical immersion into Pino's life, testified in audio by the voices of those who loved him, worked with him, played with him, toured the world with him, even argued and then made peace. The narrative backbone is a line of the present featuring Federico Vacalebre, a journalist and music critic, who sets out to find what remains of Pino and realizes that perhaps he never left. In addition to the interviews and voices of those who accompanied him in his life and career, there are music videos of Pino's great successes set in today's Naples, because the protagonists of his lyrics still walk through the alleys of Naples, with their imperfections and obsessions. And Pino's songs are still able to tell them, to tell the Naples of the present and what it will become.
