There are hours of apprehension in Ischia for the disappearance of a 51-year-old woman, married and mother of two children, of whom there has been no news for over 24 hours.
The woman left her home in Casamicciola yesterday morning in a Fiat Panda and after a few hours of absence, the family began to search for her, also using social media; last night the car was found in a parking lot, several kilometers away, in the district of Succivo in the municipality of Serrara Fontana.
Later this morning, a frame was released online, taken from a surveillance video that shows the woman as she walks towards a path next to the church, just after 12, with the hood of her jacket on her head and a white plastic bag in her hand.
Despite numerous appeals launched by family and friends, there is still no news of the woman; she is currently being searched for by law enforcement and numerous volunteers, also with the help of drones and a patrol boat from the Harbour Master's Office from the sea, in the southern areas of the island where she was last seen.
