«If you want peace, prepare for peace», these were the bishop's words, overturning the old adage si vis pacem para bellum.
«If you want peace, prepare for war! - writes Accrocca - Today, we are not far from that way of thinking, which, however, only ends up facilitating the industry and trade of weapons, sectors in which our country, unfortunately, does not need to learn from others...»
The archbishop then criticized the arms industry that fuels conflicts instead of resolving them and urged Christians to build peace day by day.
Finally, the bishop concluded his letter with a message of hope and blessing, wishing everyone a holy Easter and renewing the invitation to actively commit to building a world without conflicts.
