Armando Rocco, mayor of Calvi, leaves the board of directors of Asea. He himself yesterday announced his resignation explaining: 'I believe I should dedicate myself to my role as legal advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport. I reaffirm my full confidence in Minister Salvini and his political line and I think it is right to give way to others who can provide the appropriate political contribution required by the role'.

Rocco has already communicated the decision to the president of the Province Nino Lombardi and is satisfied with what has been done with Asea and for Asea: it is the case of the 'Water and Aquatic Sports Festival' which had the merit of bringing thousands of people to the Campolattaro dam, revitalizing commercial activities and providing an important boost to tourism and social activities. 'To the friends of the board and to whoever will succeed me - he concludes - I wish fruitful work. Politics is made of clarity, determination and correctness and it seems right to me that today I leave this place to someone else, not being able to provide the consequential political contribution'.
