The Carabinieri of the Cercola station have executed a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the Nola court at the request of the local prosecutor's office against a 36-year-old man from Acerra already known to the police forces.
The man is seriously suspected of the crimes of armed robbery and personal injury against a private citizen.
The events date back to last 16th November and took place at the railway station of Acerra.
The investigations carried out by the Carabinieri of Cercola coordinated by the Nola prosecutor's office have allowed to collect various clues against the 36-year-old who, armed with a screwdriver, would have robbed the victim of the smartphone and other personal effects causing him personal injuries consisting of a «contusive trauma to the jaw and left knee, lacerated contused wound to the head».
In particular, during the investigative activity, it emerged that the author of the event, as described by the victim, had as a distinctive sign, a wound to the neck presumably due to a surgical operation: this information was investigated by the investigators who ascertained how the arrested today had undergone a throat surgery years ago, thus allowing to trace the figure of the robber to that of the 36-year-old hit by the measure.
The arrested today has been transferred to prison at the disposal of the judicial authority.
It is necessary to represent that the present procedure is pending in the phase of preliminary investigations and that the suspect, for this affair, cannot be considered guilty until the sentence of conviction becomes final.
