Arrest in Castel Volturno for Group Sexual Assault on a Minor

The State Police of Caserta have arrested a 30-year-old man in Castel Volturno, originally from Moldova and without a fixed abode, for group sexual assault on a minor. The detectives of the Mobile Squad tracked down the wanted individual in a bar in Castel Volturno. The individual, homeless, had been sentenced in his home country to 5 years in prison because, in 2010, along with two other accomplices, he had abused a minor girl who, on that occasion, had become pregnant. Due to the serious facts, the Moldovan authorities have issued an international arrest warrant, as the convict had long been untraceable, to evade serving his sentence. The arrested was taken to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, waiting for the extradition to Moldova, where he will serve the prison sentence imposed.
