At Melito di Napoli, the local Carabinieri arrested Gennaro Grammatico, a 42-year-old from Fuorigrotta already known to the police, for attempted burglary.
It was 9.30 pm when the residents of the Aurora park called for help to 112. A man had been noticed wandering around the residential complex.
When the Carabinieri arrived on the scene, they caught the 42-year-old while he was trying to break into an apartment and they stopped him. The arrested is awaiting trial.
