Attempted Murder in Naples: Two Arrested for Stabbing Incident

Alfonso Attanasio, 25, and Giuseppe Catone, 42, are considered the authors of the attempted murder of a 54-year-old man, which occurred last February 29 in Naples, arrested by the State police after investigations by the mobile team and the Vicaria-Mercato police station. The attempted murder, by stabbing, took place in Via Cesare Rosaroll, after a fight due to old grudges between the arrested and the victim's family, who was hit in the abdomen and lower limbs. Due to the injuries, the 54-year-old was subjected to a delicate surgical operation for "five wounds to the lower limbs with resection of some veins, and one in the abdomen, which cut the intestine." The suspects were identified thanks to the images from video surveillance systems and the statements made by some people who witnessed the aggression.
