Benevento Administration Approves Comprehensive Planning and Organizational Framework

The council, chaired by the Mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella, has approved the Integrated Activity and Organization Plan. This is a unique document for programming and governance that replaces a series of Plans that administrations were previously required to prepare. Among these, the performance plans, agile work plans (Pola), and anti-corruption plans. "With the anti-corruption plan, we strengthen the action framework aimed at preventing corruption and misconduct, according to national and community standards to protect the public administration and legality. Starting from the current legislative context and based on the applicable regulatory framework, the Plan contains a precise prevention strategy to determine in the entity the most accurate conditions for the protection of legality," emphasizes in a note the deputy mayor delegated to anti-corruption and legality Francesco De Pierro. "With the Plan," adds the personnel councilor Carmen Coppola, "we have planned a hiring system that foresees 44 hires over a three-year period through new competitive procedures and the progression of existing rankings: specifically, there will be 18 in 2024, 12 in 2025, and 14 in 2026. With this step, we move from the turnover system to a hiring plan based on the real financial sustainability of the entity, according to the predictive system contained in the Plan of needs, which has taken into account operational programming aimed at achieving the strategic objectives of the administration. Furthermore, four ordinary verticalizations and 12 verticalizations between areas under derogation will be activated.
