Benevento Municipality Announces Support for Innocent Defaulting Tenants

Mayor Clemente Mastella and the Councilor for Housing Policies Molly Chiusolo announce that a public notice has been published on the Official Bulletin Board of the Municipality of Benevento for the allocation of funds intended for innocent defaulting tenants, namely those who have found themselves unable to pay the rent following the loss or significant reduction in the household's income capacity. 'A concrete and operational tool that mitigates the difficulties of those who have suffered heavy and certified income contractions, helping to protect and preserve the right to housing', emphasize Mastella and Chiusolo. The notice also clarifies the income thresholds to obtain the benefit. Applications must be sent by December 31st via certified email (to the address urbanistica@pec.comunebn.it), or by hand at the Municipality's Protocol Office, or by registered mail. The maximum amount of the contribution for certified innocent default cannot exceed 12,000 euros.
