The mayor of Benevento, Clemente Mastella, will participate in the mobilization on February 16th in Rome that will see mayors and administrators on the field against the reform of differentiated autonomy. This was reported in a note by the former minister who added: «As a mayor, I will support forms of protest to fight the reform of differentiated autonomy. The municipal council of Benevento, first in Campania, has already expressed itself decisively, unanimously with the exception of a councilor close to the Lega, against this reform which risks condemning the South and its people with a definitive sentence, inoculating the republican fabric with the virus of territorial division and the separation of destinies: the southern ruling class must react compactly, regardless of party flags, picking up a cry of alarm that also came from the national and Campanian Church».
And he concludes: «The southern parliamentarians who will support this reform, putting party discipline before the good of their territory, will assume a historical responsibility from which they could be politically crushed».
