Yesterday morning, the officers of the Sorrento Police Station, during their territory control service, following a note received at the local Operational Room, intervened on Via degli Aranci for the report of a bicycle theft parked in front of a commercial establishment.
The police officers, promptly arrived on the spot, intercepted two subjects trying to push the reported bike and stopped them finding them in possession of a pliers and a cutter; furthermore, the operators ascertained that the suspects, shortly before, had forced the chain lock placed to protect it.
Therefore, the suspects, a 38-year-old and a 31-year-old of Moroccan origin, with police records and irregular on the national territory, were arrested for aggravated theft.
