On Wednesday, February 7, at 6:30 pm, the Filangieri Museum, located at 288 Duomo Street, hosts the presentation of the book «Per Vocazione» by Vincenzo De Cupis. The author, who left Naples, living abroad for forty-eight years, has returned to his hometown out of love for his family. Alongside De Cupis, the preface author Alessandra Clemente, Luigi Felaco, and Agnese Larosa will also speak.
The book, an autobiography, tells the experience of the author's journey. When leaving Naples was considered fairly right and normal, the young De Cupis packed his suitcase with unsuitable clothes and left with a dream.
The reader will discover the story, the reasons, the adventures of Vincenzo's journey, the often painful choices that a human being faces as he rides the roller coaster of earthly existence. Even the mountains have played a role in this story, and so has death, especially death. In between, life and the desire to defend it, to protect those who couldn't do it alone.
