Book Presentation on Gender, Sexual, and Domestic Violence

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 16:00, at the 'Annalisa Durante' Open Doors Library in Via Vicaria Vecchia, 23, Naples, there will be a presentation of the book by magistrate Raffaele Marino, titled 'Gender, Sexual, and Domestic Violence', published by Simone Giuridico. This event aims to highlight the legal, judicial, psychological, and social issues involving women victims of gender violence and their families, with a reflection starting from Raffaele Marino's volume. The day will be introduced by a video dedicated to Stefania Formicola, a victim of femicide, with testimonies from Adriana and Luigi, her parents. Greetings will be given by the regional councilor for Security, Legality, Immigration, Mario Morcone, by Iolanda Pepe, director of Simone Publishing House, and by Giuseppe Perna, president of the 'Annalisa Durante' Association with Giannino, father of Annalisa Durante. The proceedings will be introduced by Enrico Tedesco, general secretary of the Pol.i.s. Foundation of the Campania Region, and the debate will be moderated by journalist Letizia Cafiero from Tgr Campania. Speakers will include Professor Enrica Amaturo, president of the Scientific Committee of Pol.i.s., magistrate Raffaello Falcone, deputy prosecutor at the Naples Prosecutor's Office, IV Section - vulnerable groups, Lella Palladino, sociologist and founder of the E.V.A. Cooperative and author of the preface of the volume, Paola Di Nicola, magistrate and consultant of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on Femicide as well as on all forms of gender violence, Simona Scotti, civil lawyer and member of the Family Commission of the Naples Bar Association, Stefania Colicelli, school principal of the Vittorio Emanuele II - Garibaldi High School. Via video link, the president of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on Femicide, Martina Semenzato, and Valeria Valente, president in the last legislature, will participate. The day will conclude with interventions by the author, Raffaele Marino, and by Don Tonino Palmese, president of the Pol.i.s. Foundation of the Campania Region.
