Brazilian Man Arrested for Snatching Phone in Naples

Last night, officers from the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, while patrolling the area, noticed a woman chasing a man in Piazza Garibaldi, drawing the attention of the officers who immediately reached and, not without difficulty, apprehended him. The police verified that the wrongdoer had approached the woman, who was waiting at the bus stop, and under the pretext of asking for the time, had stealthily snatched the cellphone from her hands. A 25-year-old Brazilian man, with a criminal record, was arrested for theft with snatching and resisting a public official; while the cellphone was returned to its owner.
