Brothers of Italy Shows Solidarity with Law Enforcement Facing Unacceptable Attacks

Brothers of Italy stands in solidarity with law enforcement, which has been targeted, particularly in recent weeks, by unacceptable physical, media, and political aggressions. In the morning, in fact, a delegation composed of the provincial president of the party, Senator Domenico Matera, the provincial vice president Alessio Scocca, and the provincial organization manager Ciro Vallone, visited the local Police Headquarters, where they met with the Chief of Police Giovanni Trabunella. Subsequently, the FdI delegation visited the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri, where they were received by the commander, Colonel Enrico Calandro. 'Law enforcement is our security garrison, for this reason, we will always fight to protect them,' the organizers of the initiative explained in a note. 'Institutions - FdI representatives continue - have the duty to support with conviction the agents employed in public safety, we must reject by all means the serious attempts at delegitimization carried out in recent days. It is necessary to immediately stop this climate of hate, which risks leading to consequences like those that occurred in Turin. Law enforcement thanked us for the visit and the solidarity expressed: Brothers of Italy will continue to provide them with all the support they need to guarantee security and legality to all of us, as they do every day with dedication. We are grateful for this.'
