Building Violation Uncovered in Naples: Authorities Seize Illegal Structures

Thanks to a joint operation between the personnel of the Naples Local Police from the UO San Lorenzo and the UO Tutela Edilizia and the technicians of the Single Building Desk of the Municipality of Naples, a building abuse has been brought to light on a land of 17 thousand square meters in via dei Bonifaci, Poggioreale area. Specifically, on this land owned by a well-known car dealership operating in Naples, several buildings had been constructed, including a warehouse of about 1000 square meters intended for auto repair activities and two other smaller structures of 40 and 16 square meters. Thanks to the investigations carried out, it was possible to ascertain that the owner of the activity was in possession of a building notification for renovation, but instead, demolition and reconstruction activities had been carried out. Therefore, for the violation of articles 44 and 96 of the DPR 380/01, the three buildings were seized and the company's responsible was referred to the Judicial Authority.
