A car catches fire in an alley, smoke invades the home of an elderly couple.
The two octogenarian spouses were rescued by the Avellino firefighters. The red helmets intervened in the municipality of Pratola Serra, in Via Area Vecchia, in the historic center of the town, for the fire that affected a parked car.
The flames that completely engulfed the vehicle were extinguished to prevent them from spreading to nearby houses, which suffered damage to their facades.
The two elderly people, whose home had become unbreathable, were taken outside to a safe place. On the spot were the carabinieri of the Chianche Station who carried out their own surveys.
