A car caught fire in the center of Avella just before dawn, on Largo San Romano street.
The flames were extinguished by the firefighters from the provincial command of Avellino. The operation took place around 5 AM. The team of firefighters managed to extinguish the fire and secure the vehicle.
No further damages were reported. The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Unit of Baiano were also present at the scene, conducting their investigations. The possibility of arson has not been ruled out.
