Not just chatter, fritters, blood pudding and sponge cake to celebrate carnival: until February 14, on display at the Gran Caffè Gambrinus is one of the tailoring costumes of the carnival of Palma Campania, to underline the cultural vocation of the historic venue in Piazza Trieste and Trento which on this occasion hosts a real work of art made of fabrics and shiny applications.
The dress depicts a reconstruction of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, it is handmade and is part of the collection exhibited in the carnival museum of the Campanian town. The Palma carnival, with its quadrilles, is among the most famous in Italy and enjoys the recognition of the Ministry of Culture and the Campania region.
