The events
The second edition of the Carnival «Sottencoppa»
Promoted by the Municipality of Naples, the event will include three days of sound celebration - from Saturday 10 to Wednesday 13 February - among the marbles of the Church of San Potito and the vaults of the Galleria Principe di Napoli, with areas for open workshops for citizens and visitors of all ages.
A sonic Carnival, organized by Ravello Creative L.A.B. with the artistic direction of Giulio Nocera, which wants to embrace a musical worldliness, sounds capable of populating the city starting from deep specificities, as a welcoming and multiple paradigm.
Carnival at City of Science: the Darwin day
On Sunday 11 February, City of Science celebrates from 9 am to 5 pm, the Carnival in an original and educational way, offering a program of exciting workshops and thematic activities related to the animal world and in particular, inspired by the Darwin Day, to mimicry and evolution.
A unique opportunity to pay tribute to the precious contribution that Darwin's theory of natural selection has made to the history of science and humanity.
Carnival in the vineyard for the 20th anniversary of Casa Setaro
The initiative - conceived by Casa Setaro to share the joy and cheerfulness of the carnival celebration in a very special year - will be held on Sunday 11 February starting at 11 am.
This year, in fact, the company blows out 20 candles from birth: an important anniversary that the winery wants to celebrate with a series of events scheduled for the whole of 2024. The appointment is in the vineyard at Via Cifelli 10b in Trecase, a place suspended between Vesuvius and the sea: guests will have the opportunity to take a walk in the vineyard to better understand the company philosophy and the beauty of the territory through the story of its peculiarities.
For children, various fun activities are planned in the company of entertainers from their arrival in the vineyard.

On Thursday 8, Friday 9 and Saturday 10 February at 7 pm at the urban creative factory, the story of the famous puppet, in a new adaptation, moves into the magical workshop of wonders.
Among masks, puppets and dolls, Geppetto and the fairy testify to the timeless power of imagination and hope. On stage, the characters loved by the little ones alternate: from Pulcinella and Pimpinella to Harlequin and Colombina, and again the Nutcracker with the young soldiers up to Cinderella with her beloved prince and the stepsisters.
'A story in reverse' at the Mercadante Foyer to remember the 100 years of the Unit
From 9 to 11 February at the Mercadante Foyer, A story in reverse, a project by and with Elena Arvigo, reduction from the book by Francesca De Sanctis former journalist of L'Unità.
On 12 February 2024, the centenary of the birth of the newspaper founded by Antonio Gramsci L'Unità and today Arvigo and De Sanctis tell a personal and collective story linked to the well-known newspaper and the precarious times of today.

'Napoli Unplugged' presents the concert by Gnut
This evening, Friday 9 February at 9 pm there will be the second appointment of 'Napoli Unplugged', a singer-songwriter music festival organized by the Cultural Association Brodo, with the artistic direction of Viola Bufano, now in its second edition, which takes place at the Auditorium 'Porta del Parco' of Bagnoli with the concert by Gnut.
