Casoria Railway Station Parking Lot Inauguration

The parking lot of the Casoria railway station was inaugurated today. The event was presided over by Mayor Raffaele Bene, and Andrea Destro, CEO of FS Park, a company of the Urban Pole and the sole parking manager for the FS Group. The new hub, open 24 hours a day, offers more than 70 car spaces and also includes a kiss&ride service, which allows the first 15 minutes of parking for free for those accompanying or welcoming departing and arriving travelers. The parking lot, with an entrance from Via Cesare Battisti, allows direct pedestrian access to the station. The area is equipped with a video surveillance system and assistance to ensure maximum real-time security for customers. In addition, outside on the station square, there are two "blue" stalls dedicated to users with reduced mobility. The investment by FS Park involved the demolition and dismantling of the existing fast-park and the creation of new horizontal and vertical signage. The work carried out involved the upgrading and enhancement of electrical and lighting systems for low energy consumption and the preparation of facilities for the subsequent installation of electric columns for 7 parking spaces. The goal of the FS Italiane Group is to improve accessibility to railway stations, also thanks to infrastructure and services for the enhancement of intermodal and sustainable exchange.
