Castelvenere's Delegation Joins the 29th Day of Remembrance and Commitment in Rome

A sizable delegation from Castelvenere in Rome for the 29th Day of Remembrance and Commitment in memory of the innocent victims of the mafia, promoted by "Libera". "We experienced an unforgettable day," commented Deputy Mayor Raffaele Simone and the Councilor for Education Giovanni Pascale. Simone and Pascale accompanied a large group of students from the Faicchio-Castelvenere Tourist-Hotel Institute, led by headmaster Nazzareno Miele. Recalling that in Castelvenere there is a property confiscated from the mafia, the city representatives added: "Our participation was convinced, especially after the great lesson that Don Luigi Ciotti, national president of "Libera", held a month ago right in our community, where about 800 people were waiting for him, managing to capture the attention of everyone and, above all, of many young people to whom it is up to build a future based on social solidarity and legality."
