It's called «The Night of Wishes» and it's no coincidence. Five great star chefs and gold medalists will be united by a single intent: solidarity. Yes, because during the charity dinner organized by the Rotary club Campania-Napoli a motorcycle useful to the mototherapy association tm committed to children and teenagers with autism will be donated: the motorcycle will indeed be crucial for the association to continue its important support activity for children with autism and disabilities. Moreover, it is a vehicle powered by electric energy, ecological and functional. «From the synergy and mastery of five award-winning chefs, dishes capable of thrilling soul and palate will be born. In addition to the moment of conviviality, we will be able to purchase an electric motorcycle and give support to the mototherapy association», explains the president of the Rotary club Campania-Napoli, Cristiano Capurro.
This is the seventh edition of the charity dinner organized by the club. The location of the event is the Casale dei Baroni di Santa Maria a Vico, where the members of the Rotary, but also outsiders, will meet. At the stove and in the kitchen, the gold medal «culinary & pastry art» Simone De Stefano with Mario Affinita of the «Don Geppi» of Sant'Agnello, Domenico Iavarone «Zest» of the grand hotel La Favorita of Sorrento, Salvatore Iazzetta of the «Rear» of Nola, Giuseppe Mascolo pastry chef winner «Panettone world championship» of the pastry shop «Mascolo» of Visciano. To participate in the dinner, a free donation per person is expected. Antonio Capone, president of the mototherapy association, declared: «The world of two wheels has always been, for enthusiasts, also synonymous with good food. But the story we will tell on February 23 is a different one where the harmony of the senses meets a better future to give to the children of the mototherapy association».
The word to the chefs fits into this typical initiative of those who live the profession as a mission. Their statement is unanimous: «Behind a chef there is always first a man who besides cooking has a human sensitivity that allows him to contribute to initiatives that lead him to donate».
