City Paralyzed by Major Oil Spill in Central Square

The city has been paralyzed for an hour in the Railway area. A gigantic oil spill on the asphalt in Piazza Garibaldi, at the foot of the statue of the hero of the two worlds, has forced the municipal police to ban car traffic. The oil spill was caused by a leak from the engine of a truck passing through the area. The vehicle was stopped by the San Lorenzo operational unit police and fined for defacing the road surface. At this moment, the area is paralyzed. Traffic is blocked along Corso Umberto, in the area of Piazza Nazionale, and in much of the eastern part of the city.
