Closure of Montepergola Tunnel on Avellino-Salerno Highway

The Montepergola gallery in Solofra on the Avellino-Salerno highway has been closed. The connection is now cut in two. Mandatory exits at Montoro and Solofra for those coming from Salerno, and at Serina for those arriving from Avellino. The stop to traffic was necessary for a check of the tunnel vault, after the fall of debris. Firefighters and Anas personnel are on site. Police officers from the Avellino Highway Police are also working to regulate traffic. Inconveniences are not lacking. The closure is expected to be temporary.
