Cocaine and Hashish Smuggled into Prison in Food Containers

Cocaine and hashish arrive in prison among meat and eggplants. The discovery was made by the prison police officers, also thanks to the support of the canine units. It happened in the prison of Avellino. In a package destined for a prisoner, within containers of sauce, the drugs were hidden inside cellophane wrappers. Cocaine and hashish were concealed in the sauce among meat and eggplants. This was reported by the regional secretary of Sappe, Tiziana Guacci. “Despite the shortage of staff – the unionist emphasizes - the prison police continues to guarantee daily prevention and repression of crimes within the prison structure”. 300 grams of hashish and 10 of cocaine were seized.
