The great comedy continues at the Teatro Troisi, where from Thursday, February 7 to Sunday, March 3 (Weekdays at 9:00 PM, Sunday at 6:00 PM, and only on Saturday, February 17 at 5:30 PM), it will be the turn of Biagio Izzo with the hilarious show «Autovelox».
Accompanied by the other two favorites of the Neapolitan audience, Mario Porfito and Francesco Procopio, and with the script written by Antonio Guerriero and directed by Peppe Miale Di Mauro, the actor and comedian Izzo, in the theater on Via Leopardi, directed and managed by Pino Oliva, will present a fun and stimulating work in which the three characters will embark on a journey that (maybe) will help them understand that it's time to change something in their lives.
«It's August 15th - reads the show's notes - all of Italy is on vacation, all Italians are at the beach, all except three. Biagio, Mario and Francesco are three carabinieri. Very honest but not too much, law-abiding but up to a certain point, not action men at all. In fact, that day they have to serve with an autovelox device on Basentana. On August 15 with an Autovelox on that road? Basically a useless thing, like having to cross a glacier with armbands. But in life nothing happens by chance. The three, due to a series of unfortunate events, will be forced to spend the night there, 13 km from the village, only in the company of the Autovelox. The ability of Neapolitans to adapt to any situation is proverbial, in fact, from Biagio's service car, now with a dead battery, every kind of comfort will come out, from a camping tent to a cake with candles. What would our carabinieri do if they found a bag of money on that road? And if there was also a considerable dose of cocaine in that bag?
