The man, already known to the police, had his driving document withdrawn abroad, as he was found driving under the influence. But, instead of waiting for the suspension to end, as soon as he returned to Italy, he filed a loss report, thus managing to first obtain a temporary driving permit and later a new license.
The investigations carried out by the military of the Arma through cross-checks between the database of the Italian Civil Motorization and the foreign one have allowed to uncover the trick. The convicted man has been reported in a state of freedom to the Prosecutor's Office of Benevento. He must answer for false in public act committed by a private individual.
