On Monday, April 22, 2024, in the Aula Magna of the Federico II University campus in San Giovanni a Teduccio, the closing ceremony of the high-level training course of CoreAcademy will take place, built on the need to provide concrete solutions to problems related to particularly relevant themes in today's socio-economic context, such as healthcare management, data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, chatbots and metaverse, sustainability, and ESG. In the hall, the corporate Project Works of the students will be presented. Paolo Ricci, Scientific Director of CoreAcademy, will introduce the event. Matteo Lorito, Rector of the University of Federico II, Paolo Zangrillo, Minister for Public Administration, Gaetano Manfredi, Mayor of Naples, Ettore Cinque, Councilor for Budget, Financing of Regional Service, Computerization of accounting and management processes in the healthcare sector of the Regional Council of Campania, Luca Cerri, KPMG Partner, Nicola Mangia, H&PS Italy Industry Leader DXC Italia, Arturo Possidente, Sales Manager Healthcare & Public Sector Exprivia will speak. Luigi Carbone, RAI Journalist, will moderate. Sylwia Morawska, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Judge, President of the Institute for Law and Society INPRIS of Warsaw, will participate. CoreAcademy provides 470 hours of training, in about five months of the course, with an innovative approach that combines traditional teaching methods with laboratory, experimental, and on-field forms, and the active participation of students in real project works of the hosting companies. Over the course of three editions, CoreAcademy has selected 96 students, of which, 83 have successfully completed the training course. At the end of the activities, overall, more than 75% of the students received at least one job offer consistent with the profile of the Academy. The faculty of teachers, instead, is composed of 60% by business managers and public executives; the remaining part is made up of members of the academic world, almost half of whom come from universities other than the Federico II. CoreAcademy means opportunity, especially the chance to realize the professional dream of many young people, as in the case of Jessica and Chiara. Jessica was a student of one of the previous editions of CoreAcademy. Currently, she is a consultant specialized in the healthcare sector at KPMG and works in the accounting advisory team at the Campania Region. During the training course of the Academy, Jessica was able to expand and deepen the knowledge already provided by her degree in administrative and organizational sciences, inaugurating a work perspective that she hardly could have imagined: "CoreAcademy is a training opportunity that allows you to enter the world of work with skills in line with market needs. It was a real springboard". A similar story for Chiara, also a graduate of the CoreAcademy: "The Academy proved to be enriching because, in addition to deepening knowledge, I had the opportunity to develop practical and relational skills, qualities that were decisive in the work context". Chiara has a degree in law and, in addition to being today an analyst for the Public Sector area of DXC Technology, she has been involved, in the last year, in contributing to support, from an organizational perspective, the involvement of her company in the Academy, almost representing, she says, "a continuous cycle of learning and growth".
