Two people from the Ufita Valley have been reported for threatening and bribing some of their fellow citizens called to testify against them.
The carabinieri discovered them and referred them to the judicial authority.
The two suspects, having now understood the importance of the two witnesses in an ongoing civil case, would have offered a cash compensation to one of them, while the other would have been forced not to show up at the trial under threat.
Investigations are still ongoing to fully clarify the matter.
