The checks, ordered by the Chief of Police of Salerno, to combat the phenomenon of drug dealing and consumption in schools continue. In particular, the officers went to a state higher education institute in Salerno, in agreement with the school management. The 12 sections of the complex and other premises used for other activities were checked.
An unrecorded student was found in possession of 1.10 grams of hashish. Furthermore, as part of the checks, two different packages containing drugs of the hashish type were found inside the bathrooms, hidden respectively in a radiator and in the cistern of a toilet, for a total weight of 1.45 grams.
The operation was carried out by the local mobile squad in collaboration with the scientific police agents and a canine unit from the Naples Police Headquarters.
