Double raid by the Carabinieri in the heart of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano, and Alburni, in the province of Salerno, seals on three illegal houses and a fourth under construction. The Carabinieri Park Unit of Castellabate, concluding an investigation also conducted with the help of the Anti-Abusivism Office, for the prevention and suppression of violations of building, landscape, and environmental regulations, executed in Castellabate, in an area of particular environmental importance falling within the perimeter of the Park and in an agricultural area, the preventive seizure of a rectangular-shaped structure intended for civil habitation, obtained from the closure of a wooden canopy also lacking legitimate building titles, with dimensions of about 8.20 meters x 4.30 meters made of concrete blocks, with internal subdivisions and an insulated panel roofing system, resting on a concrete slab. The client and executor of the illegal works were reported to the Prosecutor's Office of Vallo della Lucania on probation.
In recent weeks, writes in a note the prosecutor Vincenzo Palumbo, the soldiers of the Carabinieri Park Unit of Castellabate and the Carabinieri Department of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni, on the orders of the Prosecutor's Office, executed in Montecorice a decree of preventive seizure issued by the gip of the Court of Vallo della Lucania of 3 properties consisting of 2 residential buildings and a land within which a reinforced concrete slab had been created with a dismountable PVC house and an adjoining iron portico on top, within the definitive perimeter of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni as well as in the agricultural area of the Municipality. The investigative activities, also carried out with the aid of the Municipal Technical Office, allowed to ascertain that such works, even recently, by 4 people related to the same family unit, were carried out in violation of building, landscape, and environmental regulations as well as anti-seismic regulations, causing a significant and permanent alteration of the condition of the places aimed at an illegal subdivision of lands with agricultural destination.
On the basis of these elements, the property owners were accused of crime hypotheses related to building and landscape abuses in an area of particular environmental value such as the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni. In the course of the investigations, the ideological falsehood committed by the party's technician was also ascertained in the regularization request of one of the illegal buildings, who, in the report and technical documents, had certified a state of affairs not corresponding to reality.
